Oh yeah your right didn't see that detail. Not that because the pic on the EWM site, likely where Jim got it, has 185 on the front so?

Definitely will have to ask about that @Jim Davey can you shed any light on this one?In fact if you move your mouse over the pic on Jims site it shows it is a 185 as well, maybe it is an option or maybe it is something new that is not yet in the manual

Nah, Force Arc is different from Hot Start, mine has Force Arc and it is, from my understanding, a means of focusing the arc for a narrower bead and more penetration.
Also I would be wary about what is stated there as I seem to recall @hotponyshoes thinking he had ForceArc only to find he didn't.
Ah interestingHere is me testing out ForceArc on the Phoenix 330, didn't make much, if any, difference. Then again I think it is aimed more at using for steel rather than aluminium.

Yes your right and interesting its not mentioned in the plus version. Ewm dosent have the best website layout.Just realised that above you are looking at the Synergic Pico rather than the Puls (Synergic)
Nope, none of them do, Lorch is poor as well and likewise GYS, in fact I think EWM is actually the best out of the 3 which doesn't say much...Ewm dosent have the best website layout.

What I would really love to see on the manufacturers sites is a table with a comparison of features available with each model, for example you could have a table with 4 different Picos and list all the functions then have a tick or a cross or even optional in each box.
I can confirm that there is no force arc or rootarc on the 180 pico pulse.
It was listed as having both in the specs.
Ewm did say they were going to update the website which they may have done.
I am 99% sure that none of the pico range have it.
It might just be that they have not updated all the website so I would check if it's something that matters to you.
I didn't get any sort of apology or a free t-shirt when I questioned the missing features. Just a "we can confirm that the website is incorrect and your welder does not have the functionality listed".
I can't say I have missed it anyway. Neither of those are anything like hot start or crater fill which are handy but not features on the pico.
