Some times its just better to say no .. if it was mine , id weld it but for a customer its really not worth the time effort or grief and then having to stand warranty on it , now if it was a one of etc etc , but as a job
walk away ,,,, he who fights and runs away , lives to fight another day.
wish I had a quid for every item ive been asked to fix and said no .the way its put is it just needs welding back on as though its a simple 5 minute job its not just like a snapped bracket on a piece of mild steel with easy access and run a bit of weld over with a leccy rod
