I'm very sorry Mr roofman for not replying to your post, I got fixed up local and my heads up my backside trying to get my race engine rebuilt for the weekend
I was in the workshop until 3.30 am this morning and back up for 7.00am and just got back.

Use it as a degreaser, some I mixed with petrol and ran a generator on it for a while, good for cleaning paint and tar off hands because unlike white spirit it don't stink. Not got round to drinking it YET.

I got a 5l drum of meths at my local hardware shop for £16. I think they keep it for dairy farmers so you might get it at an agri supplier.
