ISO30 locking spanner?

ISO30 - ER32 collet holder. My Beaver mill has no spindle lock, and there are no flats on the ER32 bit, so it’s hard to change collets with the holder in the machine - the spindle just turns with me. Best I can do is engage backgear, but this doesn’t get them very tight.

Is there some sort of spanner to hold the ISO30 bit still?

I've never seen one. It must make it difficult to undo the drawbar too.
Does the spindle have the drive dogs?
Can you get a spanner on one of them?
For the collet change would an oil filter strap wrench fit?

Yes, drawbar too. The spindle has one drive dog; not sure if it should have two. There’s a cutout for another.

I have a strap wrench, and could probably make some sort of holding spanner, I suppose.

Make a C-spanner with a prong at its midpoint that locates in the cutout for the missing drive dog.

The C could be more than 180 degrees so once lifted into in place you do not have to push it onto the dog slot, but the two ends would have to clear the largest diameter tool you have and the prong short enough not to foul the flange on the tool.

You know the diameter of the spindle; you can measure the width of the dog.

CAD template, other CAD drawing and laser cut in 6mm or 8mm plate.
