Hi there guys. I figured I should register in a welding forum to ask this question.
I bought a pull up bar, those you fix in a wall. The material used in the whole structure is carbon steel.
The structure has 95cm distance from the wall, and the bar that connects the structure has 1 meter.
What I noticed is that the person who fabricated this did not weld the parts "all the way through".
I got a bit skeptical (But honestly, I don´t know anything about welding and how much weight this amount of welding can hold, so...)
The type of welding used was MIG.
I inquired the vendor about my concerns, and he claims that this will hold up to 250kg, as is, that I don´t need to take it anywhere to reinforce the welding (as I wanted to do).
I weigh around 75kg, but I also wear a 20kg weighted vest for some exercises, so let´s round it up to 100kg as I will be doing movements which gonna put stress on the bar, I won´t be simply dead hanging.
I am uploading some pictures of it, so you can take a look.
Looking forward to hear from you, as it will put my mind at ease and I won´t be concerned when hanging from this thing, I just wanna trust the equipment.

Your biggest weakness will be where it attaches to the wall. Hopefully you can install them so the triangle is pointing upwards, that way you're hanging off the wall more than pulling out of the wall.
