In fairness they never used it but no way would I be comfortable buying or selling that!

The mast in the picture is only about 2 metres tall so I'd go for the 1.2 metre working height but I'd rather watch than use it.

with working on a building site you have to be aware of weight and at high points the weight changes rather well

Our scissor lift goes to 12m at full height, but even on this I’m not particularly keen once it gets above around 8m

I’ve had to use a push-around Genie mast lift on a customer site once when we couldn’t get access for a proper scissor lift or cherry picker. They’re of for changing lights up to 5 or 6m, but wouldn’t want to be working at that height on one for more than a few minutes.

There is something dodgy there.

The picture in the box has a large black plate with holes drilled in it. Where is that in the assembled item?

The motor is black and silver or blue and white, depending which picture you look at.

The assembled picture is rack and pinion operated; the boxed item is chain operated.

It is more like this one than the one in the auction picture:

The drilled plate is the platform you stand on and you can see where the four uprights bolt on in the four corners.

I think they got units confused, 12 foot, cant be any more than that.

Might be a bit wibblywobbly but if the welds and assembly are sound I dont see any issue with it.

You can see in the pic the max hieght is twice a small woman. I have jumped from that height no problems.

Would you want to change the light fitting on a sports hall roof using that? Or lean out to give the top of your stained glass windows a wipe with the Windolene?

You can slide right out under the top railing in a flash.
