Is this any good?

Hi all,

Ive been on the look out for a decent mig set up mainly for ally and have come across this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fema-FEMI...144?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1c2d046970 I know it must be Chinese due to the price but the seller has sold just shy of 4000 items with 99.7% feedback. I myself have never heard of the make before but i also hadnt heard of many other makes until i joined this forum.

Could it be another welder with a good rep the same as R-Tech and Tec-Arc or is it one to be left alone.

No idea about the machine but the description mentions a Euro torch which is at odds with the pics. Might be an honest mistake as they appear to a discount tool supplier which typically know less than nothing about welding kit and rarely offer the kind of kit or support that's available from real welding suppliers

JMO but most of the reputation that R-tech have is down to their customer service...

Tried to ask them about that "Euro" torch and got this message

That reply tells you all you need to know. I think ill stay clear. I am looking at mig units around the £1600-2k mark but when you see a low price you have to do a bit of research. I think ill just stick the what I know
