I used to weld a few years ago, well, more like 1997. It was at a welding shop, gas MIG, welded truck racks for the beds of the trucks.
Now I need some welding done on a utility trailer that will cost me about 200 dollars from a shop. I figured, why not just buy a welder on ebay for 200 and get my welding done AND get a welder.
I have no 220 at the house, only 110, and I don't want to spend a ton of money. I would be welding 1/4 inch angle iron - basically grinding down and rewelding the sides of a utility/lawn trailer.
Would the experts here recommend this welder? They are always on there and usually sell for about 80-95 dollars, not including the shipping cost.
