Is Oerlikon a good machine?

Hi all, Ive come across this item on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250999180917?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Is it a good welder as i am looking at making my fab shop a little bit smaller by filling it with yet another toy. Never heard of these but it looks the part. Thanks

I have a Citoarc Oerlikon , had it a good ten years , no problems at all !

As far as I know Oerlikon dont make machines. So they are rebadged so it depends on what was rebadged....hit and miss

Id be surprised if you couldnt get better for that money

I have since come across a Thermal Arc Fabricator 330 which i think i will chase up instead. i used a Thermal Arc back when i was an apprentice and it looks in good condition too. Thanks for the posts

I have the 180 fabricator ,nice little machine ,the duty cycle is not the best out there ,but iirc its quoted at a high ambient temp 40deg c...not had a problem with mine ......don't know of many other owners of their migs on here though

In work i use a citoarc with seperate wire feeder, it's around 400 amps . It seems to be ok and just works everytime.
