Is my B/band rubbish?

At that sort of speed how can you tell how fast it is, your connection may possibly be faster than the server doing the testing.
All i know is it faster than the long copper wire with knots in on this farm connection:-

I was wondering that, too. I'm on a GBe connection so 700Mb/sec is the practical limit that my laptop would run at. So the *actual* connection speed may be faster.

I only thought to check because I downloaded an 800MB file yesterday and it was ready in a couple of seconds...

In this case 'though, it's right - that's over 100 faster than my connection........
