Almost - I would say money gives you more chances to choose, and if you make the wrong choice when you have money, you then have ta greater opportunity to make a different choice in pursuit of happiness. If you have little money, your choices are restricted but that doesnt necessarily mean that you'll be unhappy - it's just that you have to be a whole lot more careful about the choices you do make..

The problem with self build is that although visitors seem to love the place the owner knows what needs to be done even though it's not obvious to most people. But I can live with that guilt,,,,,,,,,Just.

I did fall for the lower crime thing until manuche (wrong spelling but French name for them) gypsys came into town and robbed everybody including running riot in the supermarket.
They managed to take the kids trampoline without us hearing!
We were robbed three times to date , the gypsys , a English I trusted with the keys and a French neighbour who was poor went in through the roof and nicked a gallon of paint

But hey ho though, I get where your coming from about money an all, I dont agree money dont but happieness as I am never happier than when I bought a new toy or a tool especially if it come at the right price. Im not say money is every thing, we know mega wealth folks and they do seem to have more than a few problems, from our family take on things you need enough so one still enjoys the challenges in life with out busting one self. Like its been said you get choices having a bit of cash
