is ez grind mig wire avail in the uk?

been reading on an american car forum that some use a easy /ez grind mig wire on car panels joins

sposed to grind easier as the name suggests , and be less brittle

is it for sale here

Most probably a marketing ploy...

The only way to really decrease the brittleness would be to increase the ductility by alloying... Something that would be a specialist market IMHO

But then the long term properties of said material would be seriously affected, essentially making it "soft and weak", again only my personal opinion...

Google Esab easy grind or Spoolarc, I don't know where you'll get it from in UK but if it's in their catalogue someone should have it.

It's a deoxidised steel wire that appears to be identical to many of the other er70 wires according to the msds (i realise there's more to it than that but). No idea if it's available over here though

Im a bit sceptical about this. The data sheets says no AWS class but it meets the tensile requirements. The easy grind would suggest soft deposit which in turn suggests lean chemistry but if it meets the tensile (and therefore is the same hardness) of 70S wires it cant be that lean.
Id be surprised if there was much difference to any good quality wire.
