I recently did my first practice weld and noticed how hard it is to see when the helmet darkens. I can see the blue spark and the the orange weld pool but thats about it! Cant really see the work piece or what im doing.
My helmet has a range of 9-13 (i think). My question is, if i turn the shade down to 9, will that enable me to see more clearly whilst welding? Also, more importantly, is 9 as safe as 13 or does it not make a diffrence to safty, just tint?
Thank you
