Exactly!! I have given our 3 kids a whack and I don't regret it because it taught them right from wrong.
I found removing finger and toe nails works a treat!
Seriously though, Mrs R is a shopaholic, I could decorate the house by the time she decides what shoes to buy, before shopping spree, I make sure mobile is well charged up and, I have hotline # to the Samaritans at hand
Food shopping , what a loathsome activity that is !! Two things in particular bug me about this , arrogant & rude staff who obstruct access to shelves and just continue in this obstruction despite your obvious need to reach to a shelf !! Also , other shoppers who wonder around in an oblivion as if they had the place to themselves , getting in your way and hovering around the shelves you want to get at !! Arrrrgh !! The very scary thing is they drive like that too !!

That dislike was made worse when I saw the dog throw a completely untouched one up then remembered how many days previously we'd had them for tea!

Does the missus drag you round IKEA? Isnt it the most mind numbing soul destroying black hole in the universe? I think IKEA was created by witches to get back at men for getting them pregnant! What is it with women and IKEA? is it a hormonal thing? Next time she makes you go in there look around at the raptured faces of all the girls, compare that to the crushed defeated expressions of all the blokes.Get your own back.Make here come to the steel yard with you!
To Add to the shopping theme, the lazy b******* who park on double yellows outside supermarket entrance so they can use cash machine..and Taxi Drivers......and more than anything else..the idiots in there civic subaru golf thingy who drive like they stole it imune from the Police with music blaring and seats near as damn reclined grrrrr tis a bad day at the workshop

I hate this Americanisation of our culture. (For our American friends I don't dislike you! I have American relatives as well.) I don't see this as an irrational dislike though.

sorry Chunko, Ive bin rackin' my brain trying to think of a deep seated irrational phobia and I dont think I have any! I only dislike genuine unlovables! This thread is very entertaining though!

Hair pieces? psychedelic squat carpets that spin when you try and focus on them? tinned spam? shoe laces? tinned spaghetti? kippers? carpet slippers? pavement cracks? old Opels? Hippy scum? Morris dancers? those old weird knitted dish cloths your granny used? staplers? wet pencil smell? swirly blue lino with the devils face hiding in it when you are sat on the bog?
If not you are to well balanced to be using this site. Perhaps you have an irrational dislike of disliking anything irrationally.

oh Chunko you big kidder you! All those listed items are perfectly rational dislikables.As for the gender issue, have you ever tried overhead welding whilst wearing stockings and suspenders under yer overalls? Its quite a buzz I can tell you...
