Inverter

I need to set up a friends eurotherm inverter , i own the same model rated for a smaller motor. I cant change the settings because the password is unknown. anyone know how to reset one? thanks in advance

I used to use eurotherms and I'm not sure if they are all the same, its been a while but from memory, with the drive powered off, hold the up and down arrow keys, keep them pressed and power on the drive, hold for a few seconds and release, you get a confirmation message, then press up to confirm factory reset.
Had to talk customers through it a few times when they have been playing with settings.

Not sure if this is of any help. what series is the inverter?? 650.

the drive can be reset to the Factory default, dont know if it removes a passwaord.-- want details

its a 601, all sorted now , i have no problems with the settings but it was the password that wasnt letting me do anything. thanks
