inverter fusion issues

I've owned a inverter fusion for 5 years and loved it untill 3 year a go the amperage digital read out jumps. Would go 90 -100-200-10 amps random numbers. I replaced it with the thermal arc. But found it the other day i cant remember if it effected the arc or it was just the digital read out ill plug it in and try it out. But what could any of the issues be caused from I'm open to theory's.

It's either the display going bad, the current sensor and processing circuit going bad, or the control knob and circuit going bad...

Either way, probably a big bill to fix it if you send it in...

hmmm thought that might be the case ill run it up when i get time and see what's the score cheers for the info
