Inverter box Ideas Plz

Hi guys

I have two inverters for two milling machines I wish to box,

looking for ideas as to what to use.

was thinking on the lines of a out door square letter box or a metal filling box

something along them lines

ideally it needs to be vented and have a hinged door for access

metal locker has a keyed locking door and vents already in it u could fit a fan too if they get hot

Sounds like you want an enclosure. I have a plastic one for my inverter that has a metal plate inside that acts as a heatsink, it has a see through lockable door. Any electrical factors should be able to sort you out.

Electrical cabinats tend to be pricey unless you're lucky enough to find a secondhand one. I have seen people use these http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/...ds/lixhult-cabinet-metal-yellow-art-30328666/ although they might be a bit small. Would need an earth connection probably, not so much for safety but inverters like shielded cable and everything grounded electrically (judging by the installation instructions for mine anyway).

Edit - just seen they do a slightly bigger 350x350 mm one for £19, the one above is 250x250
