what are people's preferred or inventive methods of cutting internal keyways?
I have in the past scraped internal keys in the lathe, but this is a slow and leborious process, I have also filed them. It again slow and lacking in accuracy.
I at the point ware I will be needing to produce a lot of internal key ways for a future project. I have been looking for a slotting head for the Bridgeport for a few years but can never seem to find one at a reasonable price in a reasonable location.
So I'm thinking about getting some broaches and doing them in the flypress, what's people's thorts about broaching keyways?
Or what other options are out there?
