interior gloss paint..sand before 2nd coat?

just doing some interior doors , oil based gloss over some undercoat and it looks like i need a 2nd coat

should i be planning to sand the first coat or no ...kinda stays soft for ages

you should have given it 2 of undercoat and one of gloss as the crap u get nowdays hasnt got a lot of white pigment in it

i did 2 coats of undercoat ...just a bit blind putting on the gloss and left a dry patch

complete grind of a job knowing it will be yellow in 18 months

Why not just paint them yellow and save the wait ?

yeah maybe the eu will have messed with yellow paint and it will fade to white

stupid rules ..one tin of paint would have done the house and lasted say 4 years . now it needs doing every 18 months so hows that helping the enviroment

it dont it just sells more paint

Use exterior white gloss. Stinks a bit and takes a while to dry, but lasts and doesn't go yellow.

funny you say that..i was thinking of trying the aldi metal paint
