has been touting for a few years now.
I've never seen the video of the wire feeder vibrating like that though.

Absolute fruitloop that knob. I've seen him/it have arguments with experts in their field.

I hadn't had the pleasure until now... Just did some googling, now that was a rabbit-hole.

They appear to be a world leading expert in selling their services to big corporates as a consultant... Which is it's own skill I guess.

But I can't help thinking it would have been a lot more lucrative for them if they had actually learned to write concisely and persuasively, then joined McKinsey, Bain, BCG, PwC or Deloitte...

However, unless their CV is a pure work of fantasy, they must have some level of technical expertise and experience to contribute...

I can think of a few Engineering "Personalities" who divide opinions sharply in my own specialist area.

To a man (and the people I'm thinking of are all blokes) they're not technically daft, and have good points to contribute...

But turn people off from engaging with their ideas by being too reliant on prestige and self-important blustering, when they would get much further by improving their people skills.

In a field like welding which is much closer to the shop floor, those communication skills can only possibly be more important.

I think 'it' is probably an average welding engineer/metallurgist that like
others of its persuasion, has decided to compete against women as the talent pool is smaller!

You've met them in person and formed a negative opinion, which is fair enough...

But opening up the can of worms that is the toxic political discourse surrounding people of Ed and/or Em's* particular identity doesn't really have any bearing on welding does it?

*They can't even be consistent about their preferred name on their own website, so I'm ******** if I know what form of address would be polite, but pretty sure that "It" isn't.
