Hi,
I have a steel shed made with .7mm steel cladding and a 40x40 box steel A frame. The shed is really narrow (side of house) and has dimensions of 6m X 1.55m.
I am looking to insulate it and help protect the tools and electrical items such as vacuum which are stored inside. There will be no heat supply in it.
I am hoping to use Kingspan Xtratherm 50mm rigid insulation board but am reading differing advice about whether or not to have an air gap between it and the steel. What would you guys advise?
Cheers
