Inside Fillet Weld 1.0mm steel

Can someone recommend a good technique for inside fillet weld on thin car body work? If I use the multiple tack weld technique to stop panel distortion I end up with an ugly finish. I´ve circled the area in question in red. No room to get a grinder or belt sander in to smooth off the top of the weld without gouging into the surrounding thin steel. Has anyone got an alternative method?

When i have welded cars in the past and just like the circled area ive run seam filler over it after its been stich welded and the paint just blends the lot in.. Its what the car plants do after spot welding after all.

I could do that, I'm sure I have seen a photo on a website of someone who had welded a classic mini firewall and the finish was similar to "mig like tig". Cant find it on google now.

How good is the plant? Has it any settings like pulse? is it infinity variable within its range?

I have infinitely variable amps and voltage and an inductance control. No timed pulse though.

you should crack this without pulse (many did a fine job pre-pulse) but by practice and using the torch trigger and travel speed. Some step machines just don't get the fine edge of setting hence my questions. If you can go downhill even if its slight, you will still find poor direction, angles difficult to do pretty especially when your body is contorted into a difficult spot, that's just how it is

I never weld upside down, all the blood rushes to my head and makes me feel queezy after a bit
