All my thin cutting disks say INOX (stainless steel) does that mean I am only supposed to cut stainless with them or can I cut normal steel? I am sorry for my ignorance but I just have to clarify this question
INOX disks are suitable to use on stainless steel AND mild steel. It's when the disk isn't INOX rated that you can't (shouldn't) use on stainless steel as the disk will contaminate the stainless. Still okay for mild steel though.
Thank you everyone. I was just afraid cause I can never find non INOX thin discs, I can only find them without saying INOX but they are like 3 mm thick
Like a lot of modern stuff it's economy of scale. Whilst it might be a bit more expensive to make the INOX ones it's cheaper to make 1M INOX than 500K and the other 500K not.
