Injury

Hi all,

Three weeks ago I had a bit of an accident where I cut into the tendons on the back of my left hand.

The wounds have now healed but I still have limited mobility in my hand and I am having difficulty getting my fingers into welding gloves.

Any ideas as not being able to do anything in the workshop is driving me nuts!

I'm right handed so all I need to do is protect my left hand from the heat whilst supporting the torch.

How about some welding mittens, my mate has arthritis in his fingers and he mig welds using these all the time.

Hello Mick;

I had a similar problem last year, I put a 3/8" Drill Bit nearly through My left hand. It partially cut one tendon & did cut the tendon to My baby finger !!

Now 12 months later I have very little movment in My baby finger, ( can't bend it ) so now I just wear a Larger Glove on My left hand !!

It's Not perfect but it becomes something you just have to Live with !!
