Hi Guys
I've been reading up a bit on inverters! All this came about because I went to my local DIY supermarket to look for a MIG, they only had one, a 'MIG-one' and an over-priced pile of poo it looked too!
They do have a big selection of inverters, most of which go down to very low Amps (5 or 10), does this mean that they can weld thin steel and would they be suitable for my wire frame project? (See earlier post 'wire welding').
I'd like to get a Clake MIG, but they seem to be as rare as rocking horse s**t in SPAIN!
I've been on to Clarke International, but as soon as the guy found out I wasn't about to make a large trade order, he pointed me to 'Machinemart UK' and lost interest.
If weldequip is about, could you please give me a quote on the Clarke 90EN with a full gas adapter kit, spare tips and a couple of CO2 tanks, plus postage to SPAIN.
Any thoughts or pointers on inverters would be most welcome.
