Info needed - Press dies?

Hi,

Long story short: I bought some stuff, most of the stuff I'm keeping, but some of the stuff is of no use to me whatsoever. Sooo....

I've now got these dies that I'm looking to sell. I'm guessing that they're for a press but I know nothing more than that. If anyone could enlighten me on what exactly they're for that would be great! Essentially I want to sell them on ebay but at the moment I wouldn't know where to start with a description. I figure 'heavy press stuff' probably won't attract many buyers!

Are these things generally compatible across a different range of presses or am I going to need to try and work out exactly what machine they're from?

Turret punch tooling. There’s a few different styles which different machines share. That lot looks like thin turret tooling and looks to have had its day. Some of it might be ok after a regrind.

trouble is with used /job lot press tools is the other half of the tool.......u need to see what fits together as a matched pair.......
once thats done prob easier to sell as a job lot with the matching one's to increase the value ...........
u do see matched pairs go for what I think are a lot of money.....but there are not to many taker's..........

Most of that tooling would fit in the Strippit machine I use at work but I doubt they would be interested as we have similar boxes full of worn out tooling. Pair them all up in size and shape to see what you have but most of the bespoke shape ones will be useless to most people that use them. The round punches would probably sell if complete.
