Info needed on Dayton welder

I have a Dayton 6z935b 85 amp wire feed welder that I had picked up at an auction without a manual, Recently I had read a post of someone who had a Dayton 6z935c welder, Im not quite sure if the polarity is set right or if I am using the wrong kind of wire or. Would the wire have alot to do with the unsuccesful beads I am produceing and or the regulator being bad. any advice greatly appreciated

For gas MIG, the torch should be positive.

WHat type of wire are you using? Should be ER70S-6.
