Industrial strength paint stripper

Hello all, I have an enquiry to restore a lot of old cast iron railings, which I first need to strip off the paint to see the condition of the castings underneath.
Rustins StrypIt did a fair job on site softening up the paint so I could manually wire brush it, but I'd need something stronger & faster acting if I go down the road of using a paint stripper. Any suggestions?
The ironwork is too large to transport to get blasted / too long to fit into people's blasting chambers.

Get tem media blasted.
At MIS we had about 24 sets of cast iron seat frames. Our local blasted fitted them to make up another persons order to a decent size.

you can still get good strength stuff for 26 quid a gallon from tinternet or autojumbles .it burns instantly when you get some on you gloves and face shield and in open air needed

Is the ironwork still fixed into the ground or is it loose?

Paintstrippers work better and faster if wrapped in clingfilm (so the chemicals go into the paint and not evaporate).

Consider the clean up and disposal afterwards.

When I was working, I stripped many pieces of old furniture with Nitromors, Rustins, and Blackfriars strippers and coarse wire wool. Never found any gloves that were proof against it for very long, and ended up with burnt fingers and hands. I guess I got some resistance to it, as it didn't hurt so much in later years.

When the EU ban came in, we tried quite a few different makes, and none were as good as the old stuff, including Starchem, so I imagine it was dumbed down to some extent. The one we ended up using was in a white metal tin with blue and yellow stripes on it, but I cant remember what it was called. Might have been a paint factors own brand.

I do remember that Nitromors was no good any more, and Paint Panther was absolute rubbish.

Agreed. I tried Paint Panther on some car parts. It does soften and bubble the paint but requires several coats. It was better than the last Nitromors I used but I personally wouldn't give it a recommendation despite the good reviews I saw online.
