it wouldn't be perfectly flat on the bends though if its needed to seal against a gasketBend it from flat bar and get it welded would be another option.

im in need of a 10mm alloy plate cut from a gasket below.. Any one on here who can do it or point me in the right direction of a good reliable place that could do it..

he does laser cutting ...prob be able to scan the gasket or post it to him
Wouldn't have thought filing it down to be beyond the witt of man. But I take your point.
Equally it could be jigsawed from a plate.
and wouldnt take to long to make + get the satisfaction of doing itX2 for DIY, Jigsaw,drill and file,Would not take too long at all.
so who do u reccomend doing it as u seem to know the costsEven ignoring time DIY often ain't cheaper unless the materials are already kicking about... buying a suitable chunk of 10mm ally plate could easily cost more than the complete job from a profile cutter provided you supply a drawing
