Evening all
I've gotten a job to blast and paint an axle and leaf springs from a friends dog carrier trailer.
He wants them painted silver to match the other galvanised bits. I got caught on the hop with it so plan on using Tractol 329 Paint if the local store has some tomorrow - I know they don't have the thinner and I only have standard and would really like to start it tomorrow.
May I ask about thinning Tractol 329 with standard thinners. A lot of mixed reviews online.. a lot of people say Xylene is a must... but some people say standard thinners or white spirits will work, but you might lose a bit of the gloss. Loss of gloss won't matter in this instance.
Any opinions.
Thanks
Conor
