Focus on one joint, probably the t fillet until it’s right, don’t bounce between them all. Your butt joint wants about a 1.6mm root gap to start seeing penetrstion

ah ok, I was unaware of the gap as I have seen it should be a tight joint at first to tack without filler, but it makes sense it would be better filled open with wire than having to burn through.

Good shout on the single joint, saves bouncing all over the shop and everything turning out pants.

Oh I have no doubt its going to take a decent amount of time, im really asking for advice on the glaring mistakes I can address so that i dont keep making them, or at least aware they are there.

the basics come very quickly ,,, its that last few percent ,,, thats where the time goes .
I watch jody over at welding tips and tricks on you tube , he has some great arc shots , you will end up with a tig finger but its a small price to pay for watching his videos.

Much like AvE's take on the learning curve. I have seen Jody's videos, he certainly does love a tif finger
