I'm possibly after a favour from a member in the Sowerby Bridge Area.

I hope to bid on a small item on Fleabay (which is "Collection In Person Only"), I have relatives in Chesterfield who I visit often, but having been "up north" 3 weeks ago it maybe a few weeks until I return.

I'm hoping a member here would be willing to collect and store the item if I win, until I come back up again, I'll pay for the item, all I ask is you collect and store it safely...

I pass through Sowerby every couple of weeks on the way to the M62 and the missus goes to Halifax via Sowerbty occasionally, should be doable. I also come down to London weekly and Basildon occasionally so might work out. Let me know when and I shall let you know for definite if I'm about or not. Also if the collection can be weekend/evening or only office hours and if it needs to be collected immediately or can wait a few days etc.

closer than me - it takes me 10 minutes to get past the candle and wicker shops in Hebden Bridge

is that 10minutes walking or driving, at times I hear its quicker to walk through Hebden Bridge than to drive thorough it on a good day...... when I go to Hebden Bridge I normally go by train from Halifax as its easier

I can a sure you it not a milling machine unfortunately, the item is approx 18" x 18" x 6" and weighs about 15 Kgs max and appears to be totally clean (as new).

Not a problem, I'm organising the works Christmas party for the guys who work in the Basildon office so I will be there early December and possibly before.

Hebden Bridge is not too bad for shopping. at least its not the same bland chains selling the same tat on every high street, but quite a few shops have closed, same story everywhere. Lots of cafe's charity shops and some interesting shops, before RDG went mass market they used to have a shop on the high street so you could buy hand made soap, josticks, vegan shoes, a votive candle and some bits for your lathe in one hit

yeah I can collect and store if you want...... I did have a neighbours bathroom in my house for 6 months before we fitted it to his house.....well he couldn't turn down a bargain, and I have plenty of space

Thank you guys, but you can stand down, I didn't even bother to bid on this.

It still went for a sensible price but more than I was willing to pay, being as I have a 5/8 inch version but the 3/4 chuck and 4 speeds might have being useful.


PS. when I first asked it was at 21.00 quid, I was hoping for a steal...

Even my 5/8" 2 speed one is capable of breaking a wrist with ease, but one of the best big drills around...
