I'm finding it very hard not to be rude to Ebay messages !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is it with these dorks ??? I advertised a fish tank & stand on Ebay and clearly stated twice there were no lights with it. So far i've had over 30 people message me and ask "is there lights with it" Its driving me nuts, I think a rude message might get it across ?

I am rude to the majority of people that message me about items I have for sale. I sold a mk4 fiesta, in the description were big red letters saying the buyer must bring a trailer as the car will not drive away at all, no mot, no tax, not insured, and it had no clutch. also put the list of mot failures in the description in red letters, there were about 8 points, all quite serious, a lot of welding needed doing, brakes were virtually non existent, rear axle bushes etc. quoted 1100 quid to get a 300 quid car through the mot, so it had to go.

had about 12 messages asking could I put air in the tyres (as they were all flat in the pictures) so it could be test driven, or things like, could I get it to pass an mot for them, could i tax it so they could drive it away, could i fit a clutch etc.

then, when someone actually bid on it and won, they turned up in a Volvo, no trailer, no tow ropes, nothing, and then kicked off because apparenlty i had led them to believe it was road worthy and working with tax and mot. he couldn't get a word in edge-ways for the amount of swearing and shouting coming from me. in the end he got back in his mates Volvo and drove off while iw as still hurling abuse at him for being so thick

evolution?? they ask me if its chromed when the add clearly state chromed and ready to bolt up.
the problem is that folks read the 1st line and if its not there then the ask bl**dy numpty's.

Then you get some folks with nothing better to do, I put a Land Rover rolling chassis on and got messages asking if it had a sunroof, what colour is it etc.

When I put a Quad bike on recently I had 2 messages within a couple of hours of it going on offering me £500 cash (the starting price) and would collect immediately.

A friend of mine had a scooter on for £1495 starting price. The first question was "Will you take £400 cash for it ?" I told him to reply "Yes, as a deposit" but he chose to ignore it.

I sold a 3 kva generator on eBay and the bloke paid but never turned up to collect it, he said he didn't have a car !

He found a lift though when I told him no refund.

I put one on for parts/not working as it was 50/50 whether it started and if it did it had low voltage out, so I get a message asking if it would power the fan on a bouncy castle

After TWICE selling perfectly good items and having the buyers broken parts returned I have stopped selling on eBay, especially as I provided proof this had happened and ebay still refunded the buyer and effectively ignored me.

I am starting legal action on Monday agsinst ebay to get my money back
