ok just a bit of help ive been a bit stupid and i suppose a bit lucky
when doing a bit of work last week working in a small area laying 2.4m of wood using a battery saw i cliped my new drill and touched the battery luck i only had a small 1.3am battery in there
as can be seen a bit of a numpty but at least it was only the small battery so not over worried after id calmed down
now a possable fix im not sure id like to use it as it is now (its still powering the battery lights and showing charge ive not tryed it as yet or charged it as can be seen from pic its a nic but i can see battery bits in side so a chance of a short is possable so explosion or large bang ?) and buying a battery and having it installed is prob more than the battery is worth
so a possable fix as i have got them lying around out an older battery
as can be seen from these 2 photos the verions of battery in the new now cut battery
i have these and a now not need tool as i have bigger batterys are these compatable
and id have to solder the new battery in so would only beable to solder tabs not the battery as ive not got a tab welder handy and dont think its work the outlay or time involved to make one
your help on this with these few questions thank you
