Big and heavy I go from the chassis. Other than that my trailer is fitted with things posted by @fizzy. They do have biggish backing washers though.

Admittedly of little help, but these are fine on my Ifor Williams P6e, largest thing I carry is my ride-on mower 250kg. They are bolted through the floor (3mm aluminium chequer plate and 15mm ply with spreader plates on the underside. I can’t find what they’re rated for as I bought them a long time ago.

That depends what your doing with it, for strapping light loads it will be more tha adequate.

Another suggestion a bolt hanger is more for PPE use but they are generally side loaded in normal use as fitted on a vertical wall, but not always, the same hangers are used in roof anchors points.

Nope, those neither.
The ones I posted are used everywhere on trailers and trucks.
Made for the purpose.

Larger weld on ones are used on the largest lowboy trailers for hauling equipment.

It reminds me of when the ambulance men refused to carry my wife in her wheelchair as the lashing points weren't properly marked. They supplied her with a new wheelchair. Instead of welded on lashing points they were screwed on. With an m5 screw with a standard pozi head. Didn't even have a washer. Ahh but these are approved :mad:
