ifl cut 40

Ive been reading lots on here about plasmas and im more confused now than when i started. I know nothing about them or ever used one but i know i want one
I know its been done to death but which one out of these, IFL cut 40 from weldequip ( should be ordering a portamig 185 next week so could order it then )
Rtechp30c ,these 2 are simular in price.

or cut 40 with 24 ltr compressor £270 off the auction site.
I know this is a lot cheaper but ive learned cheaper doesnt allways mean better.
Its only for hobby use for material 2 -10 mm max

i bought the ifl inverter mig/tig/stick from ifl factory in honiton devon (as i live 20miles away) so pleased with it that when i need(had to have) a plasma cutter i bought the ifl cut 40 and very pleased with it cut 12mm steel with it as long as u got a good air surply which is dry then with my 1st cut in 12mm steel went all the way through it did needed cleaning up after cut but i was very happy with it and ifl said if it was say 1 year out of warrenty and it look like it was looked after then they would repair it no quibbles i dont work for them just a diyer who uses the things and very happy with them

Thanks for that geoff,if im honest i am leaning toward this machine,
Weldequip might throw in some wire etc.. if i buy both welder and plasma off them

i just got a plasmapart cut 40 and it's an excellent machine , i would advise a larger compressor though you will never be done starting and stopping with a small tank like that, regarding ordering a couple of machines from weldequip for the type of money being spent i see no problem for asking for a deal "don't ask you don't get" there are plenty of businesses looking for sales nowadays, all the best.
