I'll fire off an email to ABB who bought ASEA (actually they were bought by someone else who were bought by ABB)

ABB are still ASEA, when they joined with Brown Boveri - ABB was formed (1988)

Have received the operating manual from Compair, that was nice of them and spot on Gary 15PURS it is.

I've now asked if they could confirm if the motor is dual voltage as many of us suspect.

Gary I can see why you would suggest the motor change. I may have an inverter available but not immediately.
