I'm still working on my idea for an off road mobility scooter.
Rather than the normal wheel at each corner I'm going with more akin to a feet forward scooter with stabilisers. OK it's not as crude as that but gives you an indication of the layout with both front and rear wheels driven.
The front suspension would be similar to a single sided swinging arm with hub centre steering. For this wheel be powered I need a small CV joint. I expected that there would be a steering column with such a joint but seems UJ's are all that is used. It wouldn't have to handle a lot of power - less than 2hp.
Has anyone ever come across such a small CV joint that could be worth considering ?
