I want to weld 2" seamless pipe...

I am a complete novice and I need to know what type of welder and how powerful I need to weld 2" seamless pipe of a 1/4" gauge please Gordon

90 to 120 amp depending on rods used

As above .... you may think its daft but I have never welded , never built a trike but for the first time I have had an explanation of how to do it that is clear , straightforward and I know it works , as the trike that the method comes from has been running for 11 years now . And he has explained ways to avoid making some of the costly mistakes that would be hard to avoid without his explanation . Maybe I`ll make an **** of it but I am now confident enough , because of a clear explanation , to at least begin to attempt it .
