Decided to finish a small piece of corrosion on the sill properly by cutting around the rotted area and making a patch plate that fits directly into the cut out area. All the prep went smoothly until my angle grinder just mysteriously dies.. never mind, i used the wire brush on a drill to finish any prep..
Welded one patch on the under side of the sill and then the MIG welder decided to die!


Not even bothered looking at the welder yet, just flung it back into the shed and tidies up, after resorting to tacking the repair patch down with the arc welder
I shall use the lincoln mig in work tomorrow to finish the job.
Typical, the first proper job I ever take on and my equipment packs up!
