I painted the Surf today...

With five liters of Wickes matt emulsion!
I might have hooned it over a rounderbout forgetting I had 3 tins of paint in the back
One popped it's lid...
Oh sxxx !
Here's a discripion of what then happend

There's no pictures of what it looked like as I was busy scrapping paint out the back in the nearest jet wash bay I could find, luckily it was working and no-one else was using it!
First mistake was not parking back close enough to the machine, the hose didn't reach properly so I tried directing the jet wash back towards me standing at the back of the truck , that didn't end well as I only managed to back wash it all over the interior
It went as far as the windscreen, dash, seats, door cards etc.

I was covered in paint too!
After ripping the carpet out and dumping everything on the floor I started to more carefully hose the paint out then tried getting it out of the carpet, all the time I was doing this there was whitewash going everywhere, all up the sides of the jet wash bay, all over the floor, all over me!
I'm back home now cleaning the whole bloody car with hot water and sponge,

If it makes you feel any better I once dropped a 1L can of brake caliper paint in my conservatory. There are still bits of silver here and there it was impossible to remove.

More recently when working at my S600 at night I tipped over a new can of POR15 onto tarmac. Fortunately I buy the small cans but it still hurt to waste it.

On top of the total mess this little escaped has cost me a pair of jeans, half a pot of paint, about £12 on the jet wash, a car blanket, and to top it all off the bag of plaster I went out for as the missus ran it over moving my van

As I approached the next morning I could see fluid dripping out the back door....

I left a can of coke on the passenger seat of the only new car I've ever owned when it was about 4 weeks old on a hot summers day.

When I came back to the car from wherever I'd been it had got hot enough to explode and the heat had then baked sticky sugary fizzy pop onto just about every surface.

I never managed to get the stains out of the headlining. To say I wasn't impressed is an understatement.

Brother in law bought an Aston Martin and was astonished to find it had no cup holders.
Got a large Starbucks coffee and put it in his lap, didn’t get out of the service station before the cup spilt, blistered his thighs, and blew up the ECU which is under the drivers seat.

We took the pee out of him for a loooong time after that.
