Well we tried to lift it but it's way to heavy at that height, better safe than sorry!
I'm gonna have hire a Genie lift tomorrow
118kg! But it's not 8' up in the airI hope you don't have to carry it in, the genie SL10 weighs almost exactly the same as your lintel.
There's a bedroom above it not a roof.Can you stick some ropes round it and over the roof joist above maybe? Tie it off while you get it loose and then lower it...ratchet straps should be ok.
Oscillating tool to make a little room for the straps maybe?...it's hard to solve without being there I think.There's a bedroom above it not a roof.
