If there's something to lift it on and off it'll fit onto the 6x6 easily enough - but I don't particularly fancy doing long distance trips in it yet. Got an engine crane that might be able to lift it on if it's laid down flat.

I REALLY need to finish my trailer. It's the £500 for the custom wheels purttng me off.
Normally I'd say that 180 / 360 miles isn't a long trip but I'd probably need a decent set of ear muffs. Maybe there can be arrangement, @8ob gets his **** in gear - finds the correct bell housing and palletises the 6.2 V8. You collect it from him and bring it down to me. Whip that engine into the gearbox (Bob reckons it simples with a nut and bolt conversionThanks for the very kind offer.
