Hello All,

I've decided to take the plunge and I'm going to buy my first MIG welder this saturday.

I mostly work on thin steel from 1mm to 3mm. After reading hundreds of posts here, I've chosen Clarke 151 TE Turbo. I will probably convert it to a big cylinder in the near future.

As the title implies, I'd be very happy if someone shares a MachineMart VAT free voucher, I can use it to add some newbee consumables.

even the staff are cos half of them dont know owt and u can take the p..ss. i went in and got one of there small blasting cabinets just for beadblasting he asked if my comp was big enough to run it err yes it is its a 90 he said no cfm not the pressure err yes its 90cfm and 90psi and a 3 cylinder diesel engine on it will that do it ???uhh yes

Its just rebranded Chinese junk, unless you get a special offer its overpriced. The welders look like toys to me.

I agree they dont look much but Ive just bought a 160tm. Works a treat but the torch isnt the best "too short" in my opinion. trigger's a bit rubbish but I will just get use to that.
