I’m sick of the cheap ones chewing through batteries while not in use. Some of the new ‘Chinese’ ones are usb-c rechargeable but they are about £30. As soon as they start getting down to £20 I’ll be buying a few and stop buying cr2032s
I like these, because i was sick of replacing batteries!
Im working in farmer accuracy£44 for 0.1mm resolution? That's outrageous.
I inspected one of these and it was pretty good for the money. Smooth action and read exactly the same as my Mitutoyo.

I have a genuine Mitutoyo. I also have one of the blue Chinese/Moore and Wright ones. I was treated to an expensive Swiss Teso digital vernier.
And my favourite? The blue Moore and Wright one!
Be warned though - they do 2 - both look the same but one is Polycarbonate and half the price. Around £60 for the one I have.
