I had some issues with the belt slipping yesterday and it seemed the vfd might be tripping, so swapped from small pulley to big for more torques. The small pulley occasionally slipped but no more tripping.
Wasnt sure what was going on so stuck the osmo pointed at vfd with power displayed.
Cut was 0.65mm deep facing 160-125mm diameter with a ccmt060204 insert. About 700rpm and a reasonable feed as thats giving me the best finish. The power dropped as I slowed the feed when I heard it sagging, and I guess smaller diameter helps..
Motor is 1.5kw and vfd 2.2kw
