It is a pressuried water filled cooker.
It is used to bake under pressure the metal flask holding false teeth and the pimk 2 pack plastic.
This forms the dentures.
This si then removed from the flask and polished up.
I used to help make teeth in my younger days.
This one dates from before 1920.

My one continuous owner version looks likes its done more miles though . . . 
I found it in the loft the other day - its has to be 45 years old - it dozed an awful lot of soil, hard clay and occasionally nice soft carpet over the years, quite a lot of the time garage otusdie with not even a tarpaulin over it
- I was stunned to see the tracks still intact, still moveable, with only a slight set in one where it has spent the last 40 years parked up with it partially off.

This lump was in the main water tank.
Stuck with a lot of plaster and crass corrosion.

No, a bit of medical history and technology.
The three components and a small amount of the crud.
It is a Dental flask, quiet common in the trade.
But this type is not.
It is a flask used to make a small mouth implant for premature babies who need tubes into them.
That's what the 3 holes are for. The tubes will be in the denture and a length left out, but sealed.
So the moulding process will keep them in place.
I wonder how many people this helped to bring safety into their life's?
