i have made some sparks today welding brackets

Hello fellows today I have decide to weld some brackets, and do not know about my welding I am still practicing, I want to know is the way it should be or still bad welding.

It's pretty awful Ahmed. As said above clean your steel and give yourself a sporting chance.
Looking at that box section it's pretty hefty stuff and your welding hasn't come close to touching it. (Don't sneeze it may end up on your foot). What is it 5/6mm wall. Your looking 200 amps to do that nicely and 300 if there is an inch of rust to penetrate through first.
Read through the tutorials

Edit. I was joking by the way.
Don't turn the juice up to weld through rust, just clean the rust.

As the lads said, clean it down to shiny metal. What gas are you using, and at what flow setting?

I'd say you need to find another pigeon.
As said, you need to clean all the rust and paint off before welding.
I'd suggest running some welds on some clean flat plate to get a feel for it before attempting any joints.

i thank you very much for all the replies very nice of people. next time i will get a piece of metal and clean it very well. the metal thickness is 6 mm. and the gas i use CO2 set to 12 on the gauage. after i finish my projects i wll post pictures. again you are being helpfull people God bless

Your gas setting is ok, what amps did you use, I would use 230, and as said,
cleaning is really really important, use a small 4 5 or 6 inch
angle grinder to remove everything down to the shiny steel.

Hold you gun at a little straighter than 45 degrees into the joint, (a little more upright)
and also angle back about 20 degrees and push the gun forward/away from you as you weld.
Use your other hand to steady the tip of the gun, and ensure your gun is not pulling you back
as you weld, I put the fixed end of the welding gun behind me so it does not pull me back
or jump forward as I weld, in other words, I weld from right to left with the welding unit
directly behind me at a distance to allow just enough free cable to perform the weld.
I am right handed and thus hold the welding gin in my right hand.

Regarding gas, Co2 is ok, but a mix of Argon and Co2 leaves a tidier weld, Argon 95% Co2 5%
is more suitable for thinner plate, but will be absolutely fine for your job.
There are many mixtures of shielding gas, Argon below 90% and 10% Co2 would be a good medium
if you continue to weld 6mm and up, but either gases above will give excellent results, pure Co2 just
creates a less stable arc and thus on thin steel a less refined look, it also creates more heat and distorts
lighter metal and burns through easier.

Another thing to do apart from cleaning up the metal before welding is to also clean up the area where you put the work clamp on, if you are sitting the work piece to be welded on a bench with the work clamp attached to bench, then clean up the metal base that contacts the bench and clamp the work piece to the bench.
