Hi everyone
Can I pick your brains please, I have done my first bit of tuning on my new lathe this morning, because I am fitting a Multifix tool post I am having to make a new post so I decided to make it in two parts , I have made the bit that is going in the compound from the bottom but I made a bit of a boob , I am going to have 2mm milled of the top of the compound and I forgot to take that into account so I have to find a way of mounting it to turn the shank down 2mm extending the thread won’t be a problem though because as I have the thread already I can do that by hand.
Anyone have any suggestions because I don’t really want to make it again.
