For the last 2 years my old Saab has been sitting under my 20 x 10 temporary garage as i dismantled it for restoration. I had one side bolted to slabs the other was tied down to concreted in eyes. Over the holidays I noticed that the wire supplied to hold the frame to the eyes had corroded and snapped in places so I made the mistake of using heavy duty Cable ties to secure it.
In last nights gales, the wind was in a new direction and got under the garage snapping the cable ties and allowing one side to lift. I went out at 6:00 am to find the frame broken and the tent/garage flapping against the house.
Not a great night with the car alarm going off in the hailstones and the wind howling round the house, so not much sleep..... as well there is no swearing on this forum
